Cybersecurity Engineer
(Milan/Italy)
- Company: Bocconi University

Tasks:
- Response to incidents, investigation of potential attacks
- Basic knowledge of vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing tools for internal applications
- Phishing awareness campaigns and cyber security awareness training
- Hardening the configuration for infrastructure components (Firewall, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, AD, etc.), for cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), and for critical SaaS platforms (Microsoft 365)
- Endpoint security, managing the rules for Microsoft Intune MDM and SentinelOne EDR
- Basic knowledge of UpGuard and Qualys
- Detection of anomalies using indicators of compromise and tools like SIEM and MISP
- Assessing the cybersecurity posture of critical suppliers
- Writing technical documentation and mini guides
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles
- Good knowledge for most of the following concepts/tools/techniques:
- Basic best practices for hardening on Linux and Windows
- How to patch a Linux/Window system for known CVEs
- Basic knowledge of SIEM
- Basic OSINT analysis
- VAPT and classification of vulnerabilities using CVSS
- Phishing attack simulation
- CIS Controls, OWASP best practices, NIST SP-800
- Basic knowledge of Python
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Fluency in English
- Excellent team working skills.
